HLLC (Honors Living-Learning Community) is Rutgers University–Newark’s new residence hall for students from diverse backgrounds. Its Global Piazza embodies the University’s mission of “Local Citizenship in a Global World” and celebrates campus diversity.

In collaboration with RBH Group, Supermass Studio designed the courtyard for the $70M state-of-the-art facility housing the HLLC program. The adjacent garage wall features a bold supergraphic spelling “Honors,” “Learning,” “Living,” and “Community” in multiple student languages, reinforcing the project’s global citizenship theme.
