Avon Lake is about to undergo a once-in-a-century makeover. Composed of about 120 acres to the north and south of Lake Road, and part of a broader nearly 600-acre area, this transformation is an incredible opportunity to restore, renew, revitalize and reimagine the area into a thriving masterplan that benefits all.

Under the guiding principles of Reposition/Revitalize/Restore/Renovate, The Renewable Master Plan proposes to transform a derelict industrial landscape with decommissioned powerplant into a vibrant waterfront mixed use community. The landscape of the new Lakefront Park will restore the ecological habitats, civic landscape, and recreational activities for the residents and visitors of Avon Lake.
