Supermass Studio, in collaboration with CannonDesign, developed the Del Line—an elevated linear park that reimagines an abandoned rail corridor as a new greenway linking downtown Buffalo to the Buffalo River. The design connects neighborhoods through a continuous landscape network integrating paths, gardens, play areas, and community spaces.

Drawing from Buffalo’s Olmsted park legacy, the project emphasizes ecology, accessibility, safety, and education, transforming fragmented parcels into an active, year-round public park. The Del Line envisions a vibrant civic space promoting health, culture, and environmental stewardship within Buffalo’s evolving urban fabric.
